Website redesign & support for Croydon

Keep what works.
Fix what
doesn’t.

An existing website is not a blank canvas. It may already have useful pages, enquiries and familiar editing tools. We help Croydon businesses work out what to repair, what to redesign and when a rebuild is actually justified.

Serving Croydon through UK-wide remote delivery. No Croydon office or in-person support promise is made.

Repair a specific problem

If the structure and editing tools are still suitable, a broken form, outdated content or compatibility issue may need focused work rather than a new design. Access and the cause of the problem must be reviewed before scope or timing is confirmed.

Useful question: what changed, and what should happen instead?

Redesign the experience

If customers struggle to understand the offer or navigate the site, content structure and responsive layouts may need to change. Identify the working URLs, integrations and business information that should survive the redesign.

Useful question: what must become clearer for the customer?

Rebuild on a suitable platform

If the existing setup cannot support required functionality or maintainable editing, a platform change may be appropriate. Compare the benefits with migration effort, third-party costs, data access and the responsibilities after launch.

Useful question: which requirement cannot the current platform reasonably meet?

Create a retention list

A redesign should not
forget the useful parts.

Important pages and URLs

List pages that customers use and any destinations you need to preserve. If a URL changes, plan an appropriate replacement and redirect rather than dropping the page without review.

Forms and follow-up

Identify where enquiries go, who handles them and which integrations depend on the submission. A new-looking form is not a substitute for a working delivery and follow-up process.

Access and ownership

Confirm who controls the domain, hosting, CMS and paid licences. A review can be delayed by missing access even when the visible website appears straightforward.

Recovery and continuity

Agree backups, recovery responsibilities and the release approach before replacing the live site. Do not assume that a backup exists or that it has been tested.

Agree acceptance, not invented improvements

What should be true
when the work is done?

For a Croydon redesign brief, define observable checks. These are proposed acceptance criteria—not a claim that a client has already achieved particular scores or growth.

  1. Customers can use the key journeysImportant pages and calls to action are checked on the agreed mobile and desktop sizes.
  2. Enquiries reach the intended destinationForms, confirmation states and any agreed integrations are tested without mistaking button clicks for successful leads.
  3. URLs and content are accounted forThe retained pages, redirects and intended indexability are checked. Search rankings are not guaranteed through a redesign.
  4. The team knows what it ownsAccess, editing guidance, support boundaries and separately billed services are clear at handover.

Keep a useful journey intact

SA Global Education, an existing Xapner website, brings programme discovery and enquiries together. It is a useful reference when listing the content and routes that must survive a redesign; it is not a Croydon client or a before-and-after redesign claim.

For your site, put the retained pages, form destinations and editor tasks on the acceptance list. WordPress support should cover the agreed platform and dependencies, not an undefined promise to fix everything after launch.

WordPress support and ongoing care

Know where the redesign ends.
And support begins.

Website care can include agreed updates, backup arrangements, security checks and content changes. WordPress core, plugin and theme compatibility need different attention from a hosted platform or custom application.

Major features, a new catalogue or another redesign are not automatically included in ongoing maintenance. Hosting and third-party licences are confirmed separately.

Set the practical boundaries

  • Included platforms and the access available.
  • Support hours and response expectations in the agreement.
  • Update, backup and restoration responsibilities.
  • The allowance for content or development changes.
  • How urgent faults and separately scoped repairs are handled.

We do not promise round-the-clock or on-site Croydon support through this page.
